Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
The fact is we had four dead Americans. Was it because of a protest? Or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided they’d go kill some Americans? What difference, at this point, does it make?”
– Secretary of State Hillary Clinton
The above quote is a good example of how slimy and underhanded the Obama Administration can be when dealing with the American People. What difference does it make? It makes a very big difference, and here’s why.
Originally, the attack in Behghazi was portrayed as a protest. The Administration made it seem as though criticism of a movie trailer had precipitated and caused the attack. This was a preferable outcome, since a protest can’t be predicted with any degree of certainty. With a well-coordinated terrorist attack, there would likely be a trail of missed intelligence that could have prevented the incidence. It was a failure at the highest level. The Obama Administration didn’t want to admit this inconvenient fact.
Now, we are left with an Administration that only wants to focus on the four people who were killed, and not the attempt to cover up their incompetence. If they really cared, they would have sent extra security when it was requested.
